Our expert mechanical engineers have extensive experience in the design of HVAC and plumbing systems, custom machines and equipment, pressure vessels, remote handling devices, and much more. Encorus Group has experience in the design of ventilationsystems, chillers, air side and hydronic systems, fuel distribution, and integrated building controls management. In addition, we provide building energy evaluations and system commissioning expertise.The Mechanical Engineering department also provides design and analysis services to a myriad of customers. We have extensive experience in design and evaluation of pressure vessels, tanks, piping systems, as well as various other mechanical components. Our FEA experience includes both fatigue and fracture mechanics evaluations. We are adept at both prescriptive and analytical analysis of mechanical systems, maximizing flexibility of design to our clientèle. Some notable projects include design analysis of a 40 thousand psi deep well simulator for the petrochemical industry, design of multiple steam generation plants for the Department of VA – including boiler design system, piping flexibility analysis, and balance of plant HVAC-R design.
Other notable designs include modification for the refurbishment of a radioactive waste sorting and packing system, design of a 5-ton remotely operated battery-powered hook rotator, and various modifications to automated production lines.
