Electrical engineering is one of the several engineering disciplines that Encorus Group offers. We have licensed Professional Engineers and junior staff members with a diverse range of experience in the electrical engineering field. Electrical engineering is necessary in any project that involves electrical energy. It is heavily involved in both the design of new buildings and the renovating of existing spaces. The electrical engineering discipline is broad and can range anywhere from the design of commercial lighting to the complete rebuilding of building electrical systems. It also influences almost every other element of a design – HVAC systems, building automation systems, boilers, and other mechanical systems all require electricity to function.

Encorus has assisted clients from a variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, industrial, energy, nuclear, and private clients. The first focus of the engineers at Encorus Group is the safety of our clients, and we provide this by offering failure/origin and cause investigations, hazard mitigation plans, Arc Flash Analysis, code compliance reviews, and Hazard Operations Reviews, in addition to designing safety upgrades to existing systems.

Encorus’ experienced staff can offer engineering, design, and field support services on control systems (hardwired, PLC, etc.), PLC and HMI software programming, medium/low voltage distribution systems (transformers, switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, motor control centers, UPS systems, and generator systems), raceway systems, ground grid systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), protective device coordination studies, load flow studies, short-circuit studies, arc flash studies, efficiency studies, forensic engineering evaluations, database design, and instrument and equipment tagging.
