Encorus Group recently merged with Sienna Environmental Technologies, forming the Regulated Building Materials (RBM) Division at Encorus. We would like to introduce you to the new RBM team. Allow us to introduce Sean Fitzgerald, RBM Lead. We asked him a few questions to get to know him better.
How long have you worked in your field?
15 years. I started as an air monitor tech in 2009 after getting my B.S. in Geology, and have worked in the field since.
What is one thing you want people to know about you?
I was the 2017 Buffalo Sabres 7th Man. My wife (fiancée at the time) signed me up, without asking me, for a bubble race competition that occurred during the intermission of the Sabres games. I went through 3 rounds of races and ended up winning the whole thing.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
Either golf, mow the lawn, or grill…or all three!
What is one thing on your bucket list?
See an active volcanic eruption or chase a tornado.
What is the first thing you do when you start your workday?
Set my music/podcast lineup. I usually have to be listening to something while working.
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A chef.
