Join us in welcoming Finn Gilmartin, as he begins his role as an Engineering Technician. Finn recently graduated from Hamburg High School and will be attending college in the fall. We are excited to have him on the team. We asked Finn a couple of questions to get to know him better.
What led you to Encorus?
I was led to Encorus through my father as he has worked here as long as I can remember.
What are you most excited about as you start in your new position?
I’m most excited about the opportunity to meet new people and learn new things.
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an actor or a rock star when I was younger.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
My favorite way to spend a day off is going to concerts.
Do you have any pets?
I have 2 cats, Mario and Peach.
What is one thing you want people to know about you?
Something I would like people to know about me is that I play drums, guitar, and bass.
What is your favorite book or movie?
My favorite movie is Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
What was your favorite thing to do as a kid?
As a kid, I liked to draw and play video games.
Who was your favorite teacher in high school, and why?
My favorite teacher in high school was my social studies teacher Mr. Cronin, as he genuinely cared about the class and would always ask me about my concert tees.
If you could invite anyone who has ever existed to a dinner party, who would you invite?
If I could invite anyone who has ever existed to a dinner party, I’d invite all 3 members of Green Day, as well as Kurt Cobain, Freddie Mercury, and Neil Peart.
If you had to choose one food to take to a deserted island, what would it be?
If I could only take one food with me to a deserted island, I would choose Ramen (the good kind, not the $0.99 packaged ones).
