Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Certified Welding Inspector (CWI). This is a full-time position based out of our West Seneca, NY office and requires an AWS CWI certification as well as experience with ASME or AWS standards.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting both field and laboratory testing and inspections, with a focus on ensuring the integrity and quality of our projects.

Construction Materials Inspector / Engineering Technician

We are currently looking to fill multiple full-time positions for Construction Materials Inspectors/Engineering Technicians at our West Seneca, NY office.

Reporting directly to our Civil Materials Testing Manager, these roles involve testing and inspecting various construction materials such as concrete, soils, asphalt, and masonry, both on-site and within Encorus Group’s accredited testing facility.

We have opportunities available for entry-level candidates with a high school diploma or GED. While prior construction experience is beneficial, it is not required.

This position requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to pass a criminal background check, and drug screening.

ICC Bolting Special Inspector

We’re seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time ICC Bolting Special Inspector based out of our West Seneca, NY office

As an ICC Bolting Special Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and safety of critical bolting connections within our projects. You will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying the quality of bolted joints in accordance with industry standards and project specifications. Your attention to detail and expertise will be crucial in maintaining the structural integrity and reliability of our installations, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Senior Construction Inspector / Senior Engineering Technician

We’re seeking experienced Senior Construction Materials Inspectors / Senior Engineering Technicians for full-time positions at our West Seneca, NY office. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience and hold or have held certifications from ACI, ICC, or NICET. Those meeting these criteria are eligible for a $2,500 signing bonus.

Senior NDE Inspector

Are you passionate about nondestructive evaluation (NDE) and ready to make a difference in the industry? We’re seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a full-time NDE Inspector, based out of our West Seneca, NY office. This position requires Level II qualification in ASNT nondestructive methods (PT, MT, RT, VT, UT, ET, etc.)

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting both field and laboratory testing and inspections, with a focus on ensuring the integrity and quality of our projects. Key responsibilities include performing liquid penetrant testing, magnetic particle inspection, ultrasonic testing, and radiography, among other methods.

Associate Structural Engineer

The Associate Structural Engineer is responsible for performing structural analysis, design and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems, coordinating design work with other in-house staff, and assisting project managers. The ideal candidate will grow and develop in their own abilities and interests together with the company.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an A.B.E.T. accredited program, knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MathCAD, RISA 3D or similar analytical software. Previous experience in structural engineering and design, structural inspection, or asset management through work experience or an internship is a plus, and registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is preferred. This full-time position may require travel to local and out-of-state field sites.

Process Engineer

Encorus Group is looking for a Process Engineer to join our growing team. This person will have the drive and experience to not only do the work but assist in running projects as well and can work with clients directly to fulfill the job requirements. Working well in a team environment is vital to this position. Some examples of specific tasks undertaken by the Process Engineer include mass balances, creation, and revision of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), PHA participation, piping and equipment specification, and code reviews.

Candidates for this job must have a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from an A.B.E.T. accredited program and at least ten years of experience in process engineering and design. Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred, but not required.

Environmental Consultant

Encorus Group is hiring a full-time environmental consultant to perform building inspections for hazardous materials including asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, heavy metals, etc. This position requires at least one year of related experience and certification as Project Monitor, Air Sampling Technician, Asbestos Inspector, and / or EPA Lead Inspector / Risk Assessor or the ability to obtain these certifications.

Environmental Consultant Intern

Encorus Group is hiring an intern to work alongside our Regulated Building Materials Group personnel performing project monitoring and air sampling for asbestos, lead, heavy metals, and other contaminants, as well as assist with other duties.  This person will have the opportunity to perform field work independently at various work site locations within upstate New York, and work flexible hours. At least three months of experience as a project monitor is required; one year or more is preferred.  Candidates not currently possessing the NYS Asbestos Project Monitor / Air Sampling Technician Certification must have the ability to obtain one through an 8-hour refresher course.  Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check, OSHA-required physical, and drug test is required.
