Associate Electrical Engineer

Encorus Group is looking for a full-time Associate Electrical Engineer to help support our growing workload.  The ideal candidate will have experience in power, lighting, fire alarm, and automation design and NEC code review.  Knowledge of single-line diagrams, transformers, and switchgear is a plus.  This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from an A.B.E.T. accredited program.

Drafter I & II

Encorus Group is looking qualified Drafter I and Drafter II candidates.  If you are well-versed in the use of drafting software and drafting standards, your new career could be waiting at Encorus! Structural Designer

Encorus Group is looking for a Structural Designer who would be responsible for performing various drafting duties as assigned by the drafting manager. Must be a skilled designer with additional training in a specific field that can be used to assist the engineers in taking an idea from concept to paper. The candidate is expected to be well versed in the use of drafting software, and follow the company drafting standards.

 

The ideal candidate will have the experience required to take projects and tasks from concept to completion with little supervision or training required. This position will be focused primarily on framing and foundations designs to include reinforcement and steel connection detailing. The candidate must be able to coordinate with other disciplines to create a multi-discipline drawing package. Working in this position you will begin by completing specific design assignments under the guidance of a structural engineer.

An Associates Degree or minimum ten years experience and previous drafting and AutoCAD experience is required.  Revit and / or Inventor is preferred.

CWI / NDE Inspector

The position is for a certified inspector that has a minimum of three (3) years of experience in non-destructive testing or a related field.  Documented Level II qualification in at least two (2) non-destructive testing methods (PT, MT, RT, VT, UT, ET, etc.) is required; additional certifications such as AWS Certified Welding Inspector are preferred.  Essential functions of this position include performing structural steel, weld, and other special inspections and generating applicable inspection reports, and coaching / training less experienced technicians.  This position is based in our Buffalo, NY office.  Encorus Group offers a dynamic learning environment for you to advance your career.  Full-time employees may receive generous benefits packages, including health insurance, life insurance, 401k, company apparel, and paid continuing education opportunities.
