Growing up, Mike Wittenberg had a lot of career influences, none bigger than his family. His father worked in technical sales and his grandfather was an electrician. Mike learned a lot of problem-solving skills and how to take a hands-on approach because of his family. This influence led to him starting school in an engineering program at Buffalo State College. Soon after, he transferred to the University at Buffalo and finished school in the electrical engineering program.
In school, Mike was in a lot of different clubs and groups that was focused on controls and manufacturing. He found work as a field support engineer and had the chance to help design and build machinery. He was able to work on a range of creative and exciting projects in large industrial and manufacturing power plants.
Fast forward to today, and Mike is going on his second year here at Encorus as a Senior Electrical Engineer and is looking to add his years of industrial and field contract skills to an already diverse group of talent. Mike loves being at Encorus because of his wonderful co-workers and because he gets to work in many different industries and it keeps his job very interesting and engaging.
Mike is a Buffalo native, has a beautiful family and is a father of two. In his free time, he likes to watch sports and is an avid card and board game enthusiast.
