Drafter Kyle Lewandowski joined the Encorus Group team a year ago this month. Let’s get to know him a little better!
How did you get started in your career?
After graduating from ECC with a degree in Architecture Technology, I entered the field and went to work for Marrano Homes drawing all of their customers’ houses.
What path led you to Encorus?
After nearly two years at Marrano Homes, I was looking for a new challenge in my field. I didn’t aggressively job hunt, but one day I saw a job posting on Indeed for Encorus Group. The job description seemed like a perfect match for my skill set and my desire for a new challenge. I felt really good about it, so I applied, and the rest is history.
What advice would you give someone hoping to enter your career field?
Problem solving, critical thinking, and creativity will play a bigger role in your career than you might think. Work on those skills and you will go far.
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?
Most days, I enjoy just being outdoors, playing with my dogs, and cooking with my wife.
What are three words that describe your personality?
I would describe my personality as laid-back, caring, and hard-working.
What is the first thing you do when you start your workday?
I usually start my day by seeing what tasks I need to get done and creating a plan to complete them efficiently.
