Welcome Aaron Whitherell, Construction Materials Testing Technician!

Join us in welcoming Aaron Witherell, as he begins his role as Construction Materials Testing Technician! He comes to Encorus with 13+ years of experience in Civil Materials Testing. We are excited to have him back on the team.

We asked Aaron a couple of questions to get to know him better.

What led you to Encorus?
My journey back to Encorus began with an unexpected but welcome phone call from Jeremy Lake. Having worked here previously, I had moved on to pursue other opportunities, but when Jeremy reached out and asked if I would return, it felt like the perfect chance to come back.

What are you most excited about as you start in your new position?
I’m most excited about returning to the Encorus team. Being back at Encorus Group means rejoining a team and an environment that I’ve always appreciated. I’m happy to dive back in and continue contributing to the company’s success.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to work for the FBI when I was a kid.

What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
On my days off, I love to unwind by playing golf and spending time relaxing with my pets.

Do you have any pets?
I have two cats and a puppy.

What is one thing you want people to know about you?
One thing I want people to know about me is that I always work until the job is done. I take pride in my commitment to seeing projects through to completion, no matter how challenging they may be.

What is your favorite book or movie?
The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien

Who was your favorite teacher in high school, and why?
My favorite teacher in high school was Mr. Stanley, my history teacher. 

If you could invite anyone who has ever existed to a dinner party, who would you invite?
