Chemical Bulk Storage (CBS) Tank Inspections

Project Objective
The scope of this project included five-year inspections of several tanks operated by the city of Olean, New York.
Encorus Group Solution
Encorus Group inspectors performed inspections of tanks, piping, and ancillary equipment in accordance with the requirements of New York States Department of Environmental Conservation Chemical Bulk Storage regulations 6 NYCRR Parts 598 and 599, as well as API-653 and DER-16 guidelines. Reports for each tank were prepared for the client. The reports included a summary of the inspector’s findings, estimate of each tank’s remaining useful life, notations of deficiencies and directives for repair or replacement, and supporting documentation.
