Project Objective
The client, a large-scale producer of dairy products, installed three new 70,000 gallon tanks to hold milk. Each tank weighs 45,000 lbs. empty, is 91 feet tall, and 14 feet in diameter. Each tank is fastened to a concrete slab in 16 spots around the perimeter of the tank, with a 16” embedment into the slab.
