Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation

The Canalside Gateway Building, with an approximate 3,000 square perimeter footprint, will be a four-story structure that includes a level along the canal towpath. The steel framed structure with masonry veneer will be set on a combination of concrete foundations and piles. The four-story building will include offices, meeting rooms, a visitor information area, public restrooms and areas to store equipment. The project will be the first building within the now-vacant North Aud Block site and brings public amenities to Canalside.

Encorus Group’s technicians worked on-site during construction as well as in the laboratory to provide testing and inspection of several construction materials.
