Lancaster Central School District

The Lancaster Central School District Renovations 2018 Phase 3 project included a variety of upgrades to Lancaster High School and Court Street Elementary.

Lancaster High School underwent pneumatic control replacement, full science classroom renovation, replacement of the split-system rooftop unit, classroom UV replacements, and stage rigging replacement with structural evaluation and modifications.

Court Street Elementary underwent site improvements including parking lot replacement, storm water management, exterior concrete work providing a perimeter sidewalk, playground edging and surface upgrades, and street sign replacements. Interior upgrades included replacement of chalkboards with marker boards, replacement of walk-in freezer and diffusers in the cafeteria, replacement of all remaining carpet with tile floor, abatement and replacement of ceilings and lighting in the cafeteria, library, corridors, main lobby and surrounding areas. Exterior upgrades included replacement of window systems and doors, upgraded security and access controls, repointing of the chimney and the clean masonry at the main entrance.

Encorus Group performed abatement design services including CADD drafting, specification writing, and construction administration for both associated school buildings. Encorus was a subconsultant to Young + Wright Architectural.
