Testing is a critical part of any project, but it can be challenging to complete.
When traditional testing methods won’t work, Encorus Group specializes in solutions that do. The broad capabilities of our SDVOSB engineering firm include non-destructive examination (NDE) options that meet or exceed testing requirements without compromising the function or integrity of materials and components.
Encorus has worked to unite the qualified technicians and equipment necessary to conduct reliable, certified testing for major market sectors, including federal, state, and municipal agencies. Options for NDEs include radiographic testing (RT), liquid penetrant (LT), and magnetic particle testing (MT), ultrasonic thickness testing (UTT), ultrasonic shear wave testing (UT), visual testing (VT) remote visual inspection and Positive Materials Identification (PMI).
We also offer Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) services as well. Encorus staff recently deployed GPR for underground utility location at the Grand Island Waste Water Treatment Plant, the West Valley Demonstration Project, and other locations.
Non-Destructive Examinations
We offer a full range of non-destructive examinations while remaining SNT-TC-1A compliant.
We can perform ultrasonic shearwave testing on weldments and ultrasonic thickness testing to precisely measure materials without compromising them. Our Buffalo, NY office offers a fully-equipped laboratory for all in-house testing services and we perform mobile radiography as well.
