This month, Jeanne Kessler, Human Resources Manager achieved a milestone – 25 years with Encorus Group! We are so happy for Jeanne and are thankful for all of the incredible work she does. Last week, we caught up with Jeanne and got to know her better.

How did you get started in your career?

My very first office job was at a car dealership. I was the Title Clerk and I also prepared bank contracts.

What is the most valuable lesson you have learned in your career so far?

Always try to do the very best job I can do and treat others with respect. “You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.”

What advice would you give someone hoping to enter your career field?

HR can have difficult situations at times, but can also be rewarding. Try to maintain an open-door policy and good communication with all employees and represent the company to potential employees in a positive way that would make them want to come and work for Encorus.

What is your favorite way to spend a day off?

Spending time with family and friends, going out to dinners, or just having a campfire in the summer by our pond.

What is one thing on your bucket list?

I would absolutely love to go to Switzerland someday. The Swiss Alps look breathtaking, and they also have cow parades where the cows will wear pretty flowers on their heads and bells…everyone knows I love cows! I do have an 1,800-pound Brown Swiss as a pet!!

What is one thing you do when you start your workday?

Look at my emails.

“The past 25 years at Encorus have seemed to zoom right by…thank you everyone for your part in my journey and for your friendship!!” – Jeanne
