Join us in welcoming Aurora Fuchs to the team for the summer as our Structural Engineering Intern. We are excited to have her on the team.
We asked Aurora a couple of questions to get to know her better.
What led you to Encorus?
I was looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and apply what I’ve learned in school. As I explored internship opportunities, Encorus seemed like a great place to try new things, learn from experienced professionals, and grow in a supportive environment as a young professional.
What are you most excited about as you start in your new position?
I am excited to collaborate with and learn from my team, work on a variety of projects, and continue developing my skills with new software. I’m also looking forward to strengthening my engineering intuition and problem-solving abilities as a young structural engineer.
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a comedic editorialist.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
I like to read and spend time outdoors. Even better when I am reading outdoors!
What is your favorite book or movie?
My favorite movie is the original Ghostbusters. I am a Bill Murray fan.
