Elmira Psychiatric Center

The Elmira Psychiatric Center, located in the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York, provides psychiatric services for the surrounding community. The previous office space lacked appropriate functionality for the safety staff and a definitive geographical position to monitor and maintain site access. Alterations included reconfiguration of space within Building 9 to suit the specific needs of the new Safety Office programming requirements.

The rehabilitation work consisted of security equipment, construction, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, hazardous materials characterization, code analysis, and ADA compliance.

Encorus Group provided environmental inspection, abatement design and construction administration services as a subconsultant to Bergmann Associates (Collier Engineers).
